Make sure you place your Kitty Fresh box in the same location as your previous litter box, which will help reduce confusion. Sprinkle a layer of your cat’s old litter on top of our litter and gradually reduce as kitty gets the idea.
Kitty Fresh litters are all natural and non-toxic, so if your cat takes a nibble of the litter it’s ok.
Kitty Fresh litters are very low-dust. You many notice a small amount of dust when you pour it into the tray, but your kitty won’t track it through the house.
While Kitty Fresh litters easily break down, we don’t recommend composting them due to parasites that may be found in cat waste. These parasites can spread to humans as well as other animals, and can be harmful.
While our litter dissolves easily in water, we don’t recommend flushing your cat’s poo or used litter due to parasites that may be found in cat waste. Waste treatment plants are not always equipped to deal with such parasites, leading to waterways being contaminated and other animals and humans infected.
The Kitty Fresh litter box and plastic tray are recyclable as long as you dispose of the used litter separately in your regular bin.
Scoop the clumps of litter and cat poo daily to keep your cat’s litter box fresh.
We recommend one box per month for each cat in your household.
We’ve designed our Kitty Fresh box and litter to last one cat one month when scooped daily. However, we recognise all cats are not alike. Older cats, bigger cats, or cats with health issues may need their box changed more frequently. Once you’ve subscribed, if you find you need a more frequent delivery you can change to every three weeks by Contacting Us. You can also switch to a less-frequent delivery of five or six weeks if you have a very small cat or a kitten. We’re happy to customise your subscription to suit you and your cat!
